Odaiba’s Famous Rainbow Bridge and Ferris Wheel
Decks Odaiba is a 2-min. walk from Yurikamome Odaiba-kaihinkoen Station or 5-min. walk from Rinkai Line Tokyo Teleport Station.
Inside of Decks, we were surprised to find a takoyaki museum. There were colorful takoyaki sculptures, games, shops, mascots, snacks, toys, restaurants, and much more. If you are a takoyaki lover, this is a must-see!
It is very easy to get distracted because at every corner is colorful décor and an explosion of miscellaneous trinkets and Japanese, kitschy goodies. Eye candy is everywhere and even real candy, literally! Have fun filling up a bag of sweets and enjoy as you explore throughout the space.
If you love the whole “blind box” surprise concept like us, you will definitely never guess what could possibly be inside one of these treasure boxes. Couples, kids, families, and friends were shaking and guessing what could be inside. If you are really lucky, you can even win a new iPhone or Nintendo DS.
I decided to buy one and ended up with a miniature vintage-styled pachinko machine toy! I wondered why something like this would be in the blind box but it didn’t take long to figure out. As we got lost cruising around the floor, we came across a huge, vintage arcade filled with nostalgic games, pinball machines, and vintage pachinko from the 1980s! Can you beat any of the high scores?
Odaiba Decks also has a famous “Trick Art Museum,” where you can pose in front of skillfully painted illusions that look like you are interacting with the art. Some are so realistic, they are sure to trick you too!
There are so many fun things that you can do in Odaiba Decks…and this is just one building! There are also plenty of fashionable shops, delicious restaurants, and unique Odaiba landmarks such as the Statue of Liberty replica and Gigantic Gundam!
So, if you have the day off and want to have an unforgettable adventure, try exploring Odaiba for all of the fun places it has to offer and of course, the beautiful sea port views.
