Ikejiri Ohashi station is in 3 minutes reachable from Shibuya station by train, on foot it takes about 20 minutes from Shibuya station. Nakameguro station is also reachable on foot in 30 minutes. The train which are coming to Ikejiri Ohashi station

Some historical facts about Ikejiri and Mishuku:
– Mishuku and Ikejiri don’t have a very interesting past, but the names tell a bit about their history. Apparently, Mishuku means ‘Three posttowns’, but Mishuku had a different meaning in the past. Mishuku had three important rivers, Kitazawa gawa, Karasuyama gawa and Meguro gawa. Mi came from Mizu (water). The old meaning of Mishuku was ‘Water is teeming’.
– Ikejiri was probably an old village Ikezawa or nearby Ikejiti. Ikejiri means ‘Mouth of a lake’.

– There are surprisingly a lot of dog trimming shops. Do Mishuku and ikejiri have a lot of dogs?
